About the function
As an Evening/Night Logistics Employee, you are responsible for collecting, sorting, and bundling orders in the distribution center. You’ll work in the Sorting & Bundling department to ensure all orders are organized and ready to ship on time. This includes adding products from fresh suppliers and preparing shipments for transport. You also assist drivers with loading trucks and keep your workspace clean and organized. A typical day starts in the afternoon or evening, depending on your shift. You’ll check incoming orders, sort items by delivery route, and bundle them with care. You’ll work in a chilled environment (around 45°F/7°C), so being comfortable in cooler temperatures is important. You’ll collaborate closely with your team but also work independently when needed. On busy days, you stay calm and maintain a clear overview. Besides logistics work, there’s plenty of room for socializing, such as team outings and get-togethers. What we need
- At least VMBO/MBO level of education or work experience
- 0 to 5 years of logistics experience
- Able to handle stress, work accurately, and take initiative
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in chilled warehouse conditions (around 45°F/7°C)
- Willingness to work evening and night shifts (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.)
- Motivated with a positive attitude
- Willing to work Saturdays (with a compensatory day off)
