About the function
As a production worker, you play a key role in producing, mixing, filling, labeling, and packaging solvents, paints, and coatings. Your main responsibilities include operating mixing machines and dissolvers, performing minor maintenance, and setting up production installations for various product runs. You execute the production schedule accurately and report any issues to your supervisor. On a typical day, you’ll be setting up machines, mixing raw materials, packaging finished products, and checking labels for accuracy. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, help solve problems, and step in for team members when needed. Safety and precision are your top priorities, and you contribute to an efficient production process. What we need
- MBO working and thinking level, preferably with a completed Vapro (process technology) vocational training
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience, ideally in a production or waste processing environment
- Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Good communication skills and a true team player
- Ability to translate product information into production parameters and (process) settings
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
