About the function
As a Dough Maker, you play a key role in the production process of tasty bakery products. Working closely with your colleagues in the dough making department, operators, and the quality team, you ensure the dough is prepared to perfection. You’ll be responsible for operating, adjusting, switching over, and monitoring equipment, including proofing and oven installations. You’ll also oversee the baking process, keeping a close eye on specifications like shape, weight, and color. A typical day as a Dough Maker is never the same. You start by preparing the dough mass, adding toppings and ingredients according to precise specifications, and starting up the production line. You collaborate with the Team Leader and other team members, perform quality checks, and independently solve minor technical issues. Throughout the day, you keep records and ensure all processes follow HACCP and safety regulations. What we need
- At least vocational (MBO) working and thinking level, preferably a food operator or similar qualification
- Good command of Dutch; English is a plus
- Technical insight with a passion for both automation and manual work
- Solution-oriented and a strong team player
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety is a plus
- Experience with industrial ovens and automated production lines is an advantage
- Accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility are essential
