As a Materials Sorting Associate, you will be responsible for sorting various materials that do not belong to the iron category, such as plastic components and other non-ferrous residual materials. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where recycling and sustainability are at the core of everything. Through your efforts, discarded materials get a second life and you directly contribute to the circular economy. On a typical day, you’ll start with your colleagues by dividing up tasks. You’ll sort materials on the conveyor belt, operate sorting machines, and ensure tasks are completed safely and accurately. You'll identify different types of metals and make sure only the correct materials end up in the right waste streams.
